I have tried other sources for bison products and there is NO comparison. The filets are absolutely delicious! Juicy, tender and flavorful.I have also purchased grd bison products and it is the best I have ever had. My entire family gives their thumbs up to the tastiest burger they have ever had! "A must try for all"
These cuts were at the top of our list with being the tastiest, tenderess me and my wife have ever had. Each bite was a treat. Seasoned with kosher salt, pepper, oregano, while being cooked medium rare with slight amount vegetable broth and butter in cast iron pan.
Wife cut up slices of sweet potatoes seasoned with chili powder, cumen, paprika, and olive oil and baked in oven. Also aspargus stalks baked in oven with olive oil, kosher salt and pepper. Had wonderful salad also. Only thing missing was fois gras served on top of filets.
The Best to Impress
I love serving these to guests. Very easy to prepare. I use a cast iron pan. Heat it on high, add a little olive oil and/or butter, then drop the heat to between medium and medium/high. Just sear on all sides and serve just under medium-rare. Don't overcook! For an over-the-top meal, add a slice of bleu cheese or butter on top. Let it melt then serve.
