Excellent quality. I've had bison sirloin before, but this was my first taste of bison New York and I must say, I'm hooked. Very good texture and flavor.

Great to have in the freezer, take out for an hour, then fry in pan with a little olive oil, and finish in oven for 20 minutes at 350 - my grandson can eat one and a half at a time. Sometimes he comes over (lives next door) and asks if I have any more Buffalo steaks!

Since we gave up store bought beef, we only eat bison that is grass fed and minimally processed. I tried Northstar Bison last year and am very pleased with the quality, flavor, customer service [...]. My only comment is that some of the NY strips had excess fat and a bit of gristle. This occurred in one or two steaks out of the 10 we ordered. But overall, we LOVE these steaks. They grill perfectly and are delicious!
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
